Why should I get a second opinion?
Your treating doctor recommends surgery but you are concerned about the procedure and don't know if it is the best option for you? You wonder whether there are other treatment options or whether surgery is really the best option? A second opinion by an experienced, independent physician before major surgery can provide answers to your questions and make you more confident about the chosen therapy option.
