Joint network of Heidelberg and Mannheim University Hospitals ranks No. 1 in the "Stern Hospital Ranking 2026/2027"

For most patients, finding the right hopsital is a crucial decision. The annual assessment conducted by the independent research institute MINQ provides reliable guidance and evidence-based recommendations. 

The German magazine "Stern" recognized the best hospitals and specialist departments in its ranking. According to the results, the joint network of Heidelberg and Mannheim University Hospitals ranks first, making it the best hospital in Germany. A total of 62 specialty departments across the Heidelberg and Mannheim locations as well as the Heidelberg Thoraxklinik received this distinction.

This latest recognition further reinforces the outstanding position of Heidelberg University Hospital, which ranks 14th worldwide in the "World's Best Hospitals 2026" ranking.
