Expansion of cardiology services for international patients

Due to the high demand for cardiological examinations, the Department of Cardiology, Angiology, and Pulmonology at Heidelberg University Hospital has expanded its services. 

"The demand for cardiological examinations has steadily increased in recent years",  said Prof. Dr. Norbert Frey, Medical Director of the clinic. "To reduce waiting times and more effectively meet patients' needs, we decided to open a private outpatient clinic."

The new facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This enables a wide range of tests, such as cardiac MRIs, stress echocardiography, and cardiac ultrasound, as well as preoperative risk assessments prior to major planned surgeries.
