Heidelberg University Hospital named one of the "World's Best Hospitals 2026"

For the eighth time, the statistics and market research organization "Statista" evaluated over 2,500 healthcare facilities and compiled a ranking on behalf of the U.S. magazine "Newsweek". The ranking is based on recommendations from medical experts, quality and performance metrics from the hospitals evaluated, patient satisfaction data, and a survey conducted by Statista. 

Heidelberg University Hospital ranks 12th among the best hospitals, moving up two spots from last year to get closer to the global top. The outstanding performance of Heidelberg University Hospital underscores the tremendous dedication of its doctors and nurses to providing the best possible patient care. In the “World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2026” ranking, all of the evaluated hospital's departments received top honors.
