The ranking is based on recommendations from medical experts, quality and performance metrics from the hospitals evaluated, patient satisfaction data, and a survey conducted by Statista.
Heidelberg University Hospital ranks 12th among the best hospitals, moving up two spots from last year to get closer to the global top.
