Our expert treatment team in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department is highly experienced in treating even severe foot deformities as well as in reconstructive foot surgery.
In addition to conservative therapies, we offer a wide range of surgical interventions.
By using state-of-the-art surgical techniques for the reconstruction of both bone and soft tissue, we ensure the optimal quality of your treatment.
Before surgery, we perform a precise analysis of your gait in our gait laboratory, and thereby gather important information about individual movement processes in your foot.
Our physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, as well as our specially trained nursing staff, care for approximately 500 patients with foot conditions annually in our 24-bed unit. The average length of stay is seven days.
As part of a university medical center, our primary mission is to treat complex conditions and deformities that sometimes require very elaborate reconstructive solutions.
The waiting period for an operation is currently several months. We thank you for your understanding.
It is our pleasure to be able to help you.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Wolfram Wenz
