By Plane

We are 45 minutes by car or train from the international Frankfurt am Main Airport and 90 minutes from the Stuttgart Airport. If you would like a transfer from or to the airport, you will find more information here.

By Train

You will find train connections to Heidelberg on the web pages of the Deutsche Bahn. The Heidelberg Central Railway Station is about 10 minutes by car from the University Hospital. You can take a taxi or bus to the hospital from here:

Gynecological and Dermatological Department (Bergheim Hospital):

Bus no. 32 towards “Universitätsplatz” (“University Square”)    
Get off at the “Thibautstraße” stop

Orthopedic Hospital (Schlierbach district):

Rapid transit S2 towards Eberbach, railway station
Get off at the “Schlierbach-Orthopädie” stop

All other hospital departments (campus “Im Neuenheimer Feld”):

Bus no.  32 towards “Neuenheimer Feld/Kopfklinik”
Get off at the following stops: “Chirurgische Klinik” (“Surgical Departments”), “Medizinische Klinik” (“Medical Departments”), “Jugendherberge/Kinderklinik” (“Youth Hostel/Children’s Hospital”) or “Kopfklinik” (“Head Hospital”).

By Car

To plan your route, please ask the International Office for the exact address of the treating department.

There are adequate parking spaces available on the hospital grounds for a charge (maximum € 5/day). Follow the signs to the appropriate department.
